PcCharge Error: Invalid Expiration Date

Sometimes you will come across a card that has a valid expiration date, but for some reason PcCharge says that it is invalid. This can be fixed easily by following these steps:

1. Click on the Setup Menu


2. Select Preferences


3. Find the Last Valid Year Field


4. Update this number to a much higher number and save the changes

That's all you need to do! Now you should not have any trouble running the transaction now.

PCCharge: Running A Credit / Refund

To run a credit, also known as a refund, transaction in PcCharge, follow the below steps:

1. Click on the Credit Card Icon
2. Select the "Credit" tab
3. Fill out each field including the amount you want to give back to the customer.
4. Click "Process"
